| Hard Rock Hard rock (sau heavy rock) este un subgen vag definit de muzica rock, care își are rădăcinile la mijlocul anilor 1960 (garage rock), rock blues rock si psihedelic. Acesta se caracterizează prin utilizarea din greu de chitare electrice distorsionate, chitara bas, tobe, și de multe ori însoțite de piane și tastaturi.
